Nearly 50 JAMS students and over 50 siblings and parents joined us for a wonderful weekend in Morro Bay. Whether they camped or stayed in a hotel, everyone had a great time!We have another camping trip to Joshua Tree in the Spring - March 9-11, 2012!

Today was California Coastal Cleanup Day and JAMS was well represented!

80 students plus many family members joined us as we worked with Heal The Bay to clean up Santa Monica Beach.
Pounds and pounds of litter were collected.

I recently attended the SMSM seminars in Morro Bay with my 7th grade son. What a fabulous time we had! We started off the weekend by setting up our tent in the dark thanks to the back up on the 405, but with many friendly and experienced campers (and Boy Scouts) nearby, it all worked out just fine. An owl was hooting above us as we built our version of a weekend "nest". By the time we woke up in the morning, the camp ground was full of John Adams families.
