PLEASE READ - IMPORTANT YOSEMITE UPDATE!

It's raining and snowing in Yosemite! As a result a few trees fell in the Curry Village vicinity and knocked out power lines. Due to the fact that they don't know when they can restore power to Curry Village all NatureBridge groups originally scheduled to stay at Curry Village will instead be housed and fed at the Yosemite Lodge at the Falls. Programs are currently scheduled to continue as normal.

What this means is that we will now have luxury accommodations at the Yosemite Lodge ----- bathrooms and showers in each room and great heating! Each cabin group will now have their own hotel room. There are TV's and phones in the rooms but they have been disconnected and we need to tell all of the students not to touch them. We must also remind our students to be respectful of these very nice rooms.

Speaking from experience, this is a huge step up from lodging at Curry. Everything else in the Valley will continue as scheduled except that Ice Skating will depend on conditions when we are there.

Everything in Crane Flat is fine and programs there will continue as scheduled.

We anticipate an outstanding trip and look forward to seeing you all by 6:45 tomorrow morning.
