Attention all 7th and 8th grade Science Magnet families:


Our spring camping trip for SMSM families to Joshua Tree is the weekend of March 9-11, 2012.  We have three large group campsites at the south end of the park in Cottonwood. 


We currently have 24 families on the list, but still have space!  If your family would like to attend, please email Tracy Levin at tlevin@smmusd.org with your magnet student's name, their science teacher, and the number of people in your family.  To attend, we need a $10 deposit per family - please make checks payable to Santa Monica Science Magnet and place them in Mrs. Levin's box in the main office. 


Mrs. Levin and Mr. Avedian will lead activities Friday evening to Sunday morning.  Students can earn up to 2 seminar credits for participating in and completing write-ups of the activities offered by SMSM teachers on the trip.
