Thanks JAMS families for a great Morro Bay trip!!

Nearly 50 JAMS students and over 50 siblings and parents joined us for a wonderful weekend in Morro Bay.  Whether they camped or stayed in a hotel, everyone had a great time!

We have another camping trip to Joshua Tree in the Spring - March 9-11, 2012!  Mrs. Levin is already taking sign ups for the group campsites!  If you are interested, SMSM will be camping at Cottonwood.  The group sites are reserved, and then there are first come first served single sites for tents and RVs.

Send Mrs. Levin an email (tlevin@smmusd.org) with your student's name and grade, and number of family members, and a non-refundable deposit for $10 (make out checks to Santa Monica Science Magnet) if you'd like to add your name to the Joshua Tree list!

Also, a reminder to all participants to turn in their packets by this Thursday, Nov 10!  They can put them in Mrs. Levin's box in the main office.
